Reflection Unit1

Reflection The culture is the most important part in our life.From the Unit 1 of the class,I got a lot of knowledge which is i never had learned before. Critical Insight At first, from the reading of the text,I learned the culture was created from human being.And then ,I think culture is a powerful strength to support the country which has people’s traditional lifestyle and it is the spirit of the culture.The culture has always been developed by the people.What’s more, I did a lot of researches about the origin some import holidays.It is the important part in culture which can show what the local culture include.Comparing the four characteristics of culture,I think the most import one is adaptive.At the starting of the different culture meeting,it will create a new culture and it makes the culture developing.Additionally, I have learned the description system called iceberg which was used in culture.And, I think that the deep culture did a lot of the discussions about the aspects of culture.After our discussions,we found that most of the country’s culture have the common aspects of the social organization, customs and the economy.However, when we got the new life environment, it always came with the cultural sock and also we should show our respects to the differences between the different culture.We should overcome the stages the shock and finally we can get the independence stage.At last, I finished the digital cultural identity poster which is a better way to know more about my local culture.And then, I showed 5 aspects and I shared it to my classmates and we did a lot discussions. Aha My Aha moment was when we had a discussion with the stages of the culture shock.It was my first time to know such perfect conclusion.In addition, I asked myself which stage i was stay at that time.Also, I thought that I was in the stage of the distress stage at the beginning of the semester.By making my progress,I am in the autonomy stage right now.I have my friends here and I applied a credit card for me.What’s more, by doing the part-time job,I could pay for my semester.These are great things to me when i am this stage.However, I am enjoying the life in Chicago and I will have a great future i believe. Bumper Sticker I create a bumper which is the cultural tolerance.I think it is very important. I didn’t know that I did not know that how to make it faster to arrive at the independence stage.How keep the best situation to study the new culture?

Reflection Critical Insight At the first part of the Unit 2, from the reading of the text. I learned the pop culture was created by most of people and it has a specific signal in that time. It is not the things are kept in the long time.The four elements of popular culture are changed by people for different reasons. What’s more, from the facts about the William Shakespeare, I had known that the pop culture could be developed by the old things which might do not show up for the long time.
